Street Research publishers the work of independent analysts that cover companies.  At times we hire independent analyst to cover specific companies for a fee.  Others times the work of independent analysts is made available to our web site, and the analyst was paid by the company covered or a third party for the company.  We make it a policy to have a disclosure at the bottom of every report so that everything is clear regarding any compensation received by analysts published on our web site.

Fees collected are not tied to a favorable or unfavorable report, but rather is paid  for the work of doing the report. Fees are paid by the client who orders a report and never by the reader.  Anyone who ever reads research reports needs to understand that the client, as mentioned above, has a reason or a vested interest in the company otherwise they would never order a research report to begin with.
